On April 20, 2013, Seth lost his long-standing battle with addiction. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on March 4, 1978, and grew up in Bluffdale and Sandy, UT, where he made friends as easily as walking into a room. With his mischievous smile and funny, funny stories, he could make anyone laugh and kept his family and friends entertained for hours with his impromptu tales about anything and everything. Seth’s love for the outdoors, snowboarding and camping were topped only by fishing, which was his favorite thing to do. Seth never stopped trying to win his battle and while working at Raylia Design, Seth found himself for a time and he found true happiness with his love, Carly, and his beloved dog and best friend, Norman. Through his kindness and influence, he saved a friend and helped turn a troubled life around. His family prayed that he would love himself as much as he loved others, and would have done anything to help Seth overcome the terrible addition that he faced for so long. His family prays for the thousands like Seth who lose their way to the ravages of this terrible disease, and if we can bring awareness and one person can be influenced by Seth’s tragedy and seek the help they need, we know it will bring Seth the peace he has been seeking. Our only comfort at this time is believing that Norman leapt into Seth’s arms and that he is in the loving embrace of his Grandma and Grandpa Jensen, his Papa, and his cousin Dave, who met him with a big bear hug, a pole and the ultimate fishing hole.
Seth leaves behind his broken-hearted family; his loving parents, Robert and Linda Jensen, his brothers and heroes, Chris (Karri) Jensen, Jesse (Monica) Jensen and his baby sister, Brittney Jensen-Mucikyan, who he adored and made sure, in a way only Seth could do, that she knew how much he loved her. We will all make sure that Seth’s nieces and nephews, Brianna, Jake, Jayden, Harper and Quinn will remember Seth through loving memories. He will remain in the heart of his Nana, Barbara Webb, and all his many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends too numerous to count. Seth also leaves behind the love of his life, Carly Hogan, and his dog, Otis. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Fawn and Sylvia Jensen, his Papa, Richard E. Webb, and his cousin and friend, David Craig. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 2200 W. where friends may call an hour prior.
