Virginia Dahl Larson

 

Our devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend Virginia Dahl Larson passed away November 16, 2008 after a valiant battle with cancer.  She was born October 11, 1944 in Spring City, Utah to Rulon & Alta Peterson Dahl.  Married Brent R. Larson May 9, 1964 in Spring City. 

Virginia was a member of the LDS Church.  She was a lifetime business partner with her husband.  They farmed, owned the Cow Palace Lanes Bowling Alley, and for the last 20 years have owned Hiland Hay, Inc.  She also worked at Snow College and made many life long friends.  She and Brent enjoyed traveling and seeing the country.  She first developed a deep love for the mountains as she spent her summers as a young girl with her dad at the sheep camp. 

Virginia is survived by her husband Brent, children; Angela (Brian) Johnson, Devron (Cherish) Larson, & Jamie Larson, 12 grandchildren, & 1 great-grandchild, sister Stella Watson (Grant).  Preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Clifford, Ted, Kent, Jay & Jack, and sister LaRue. 

A viewing will be held Wednesday evening at the Ephraim Stake Center 400 E. Center Street in Ephraim from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Thursday in the Riverton 3rd Ward 12070 So. Laurel Chase Dr. (1547 W) at 11 a.m. where friends may call an hour prior.  Interment Riverton Cemetery.
