Lois Miller Bills

1924-2009

 

Lois Miller Bills passed away on January 6, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born April 6, 1924 in Murray, Utah to George and Julia Casper Miller. She married Gordon Stannard Bills on July 19, 1941, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. 

Lois was an active member of the LDS Church.  She enjoyed traveling, and had a home in Yuma, AZ and a cabin in American Fork Canyon.  She and her husband owned Bills Buy Low Shoppe in Riverton.  She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizen Center and loved watching the Utah Jazz and WWE Wrestling.  Her greatest joy was her family and her husband was the love of her life.

She is survived by her children; LeaNae Bills, Julie Wells, Ivan (Debra) Bills, Shelly (Jim) Haslam & Melanie Sweet, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sister Marilyn Sweet & brother Stanley Miller.  Preceded in death by her husband Stan, son Jay, and 4 grandchildren; Patrick, Stacey, Tracy & Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Bluffdale 1st Ward 14400 So. 1700 W.  Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior at the church.  Interment Bluffdale Cemetery.
