![]() Maxine I. Reesor 1924-2008 Maxine I. Reesor, 84, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at the home of her daughter, Karla Noble, in Riverton, Utah, from complications due to aging. She is survived by her three daughters, Sherry Getz (Montana), Vicki Romero (California), and Karla Noble (Utah); 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was born in Perkins, Oklahoma to Ina Giddeon and Alan Pearson. She was taken to southern California when she was quite small. She met and married her sweetheart, Karl Robert Reesor on Nov. 29, 1943, in Santa Monica. Because Karl was a wonderful provider, Maxine was able to remain at home to raise their three daughters. When Karl retired they moved to Jerome, Idaho, where they lived for twenty years. When their health declined, they came to live with Karla in Riverton. Karl passed away on May 29, 2005, after 61-1/2 years of marriage. Maxine remained at Karla’s home until March of this year, when it became necessary for her to be placed at Crosslands, until coming home to pass away. Karla & family would like to express special appreciation to the nursing staff at Crosslands; the sweet, tender care of the Sunbrook Hospice; Verl Boyack our attentive, loving friend and neighbor; and the compassionate care and service of Ron Broomhead, a dear friend and caregiver! Private graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverton City Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-9:30 a.m. prior at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. in Riverton.
