Ron W. Hoogveldt

Our loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away on Dec. 2, 2008.  Ron was born March 1, 1964 in SLC, Utah to Martin & Wilhelmina Hoogveldt.  Married the love of his life Stacey Ann Nelson Feb. 20, 1993.  During this time they were blessed with two beautiful children, Sebastian 14, daughter Cheyanne 11.  Dad loved spending time with us camping and fishing, our favorite place Flaming Gorge.  He always enjoyed a good glass of wine and a game of Texas Holdem.  From a young boy he always wanted to drive the big rigs.  Became a teamster, driving for 23 years.  At the time of his death he was employed by Roadway Express.  His never ending loving personality will always be remembered and missed.  Survived by his wife Stacey Hoogveldt, (son) Sebastian, (daughter) Cheyanne, mother and father, brothers John (Sharee), Martin, Robert (JoCine), and sister Nancy (Bill), mother-in-law Lynnette (Buck), father-in-law Byron (Linda). Sisters-in-law Carrie, Sarah, Jessie, brothers-in-law Mark (Shelley), Craig, Scott (Diana), (friend) Cleve Beck, and several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by brother, Steve, and Rose Nelson.  A celebration of life will be held Wednesday evening December 10, 2008 at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. Riverton, Utah.  A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday December 11, at 10:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 Highland Drive.
