Annie Lenora Lloyd Bailey died in her sleep on December 11, 2008. She was 88 years old. Born 15 June 1920 in Dighton, Kansas, Annie was named after her Aunt Annie Key who died at age 15. Annie was the first child of John Cornell and Ella Maggie Key Lloyd. She married J D Bailey in 1939. She moved from Kansas with her family to Salt Lake City in 1963. Divorced from J D Bailey in 1964, she supported her family by sewing and making drapes.
She is survived by one brother, Vernon C. Lloyd, all five of her children, Eugene Bailey, Joanne Fillmore, Linda Wilde, Marilyn Hausknecht and Kelly Bailey; 23 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the Sandy City Cemetery 9000 S. 700 E. on December 17, 2008 at 1:00 PM.
